About Us

All craft are well maintained and the Club has a planned yearly refurbishment and update scheme to enable its members to compete in the best equipment available to the Club.

• To encourage Junior Rowing the Club has drawn up its own Junior Development Plan.
• At the Boathouse, we have 6 Ergos and weights for land training
• We have further facilities of Ladies and Mens changing rooms and showers, a Lounge Bar with views across Torbay.
• The Boat House of Paignton rowing club is positioned on the harbour on the south Quay, opposite the slipway.
• Rowing takes place on the sea in a sheltered bay.

Paignton Rowing Club races under the rules of the West of England Amateur Rowing Association which is affiliated to the Amateur Rowing Association of Great Britain.

Who, with a committee of ten, shall undertake the entire management of the Club and be known as the Management Committee.
